Mabel Elizabeth Singletary, author of The Double Dutch Club Series for girls ages 8-12, has been an educator for over twenty-eight years. Mabel enjoys writing stories that encourage readers to set goals, to recognize the importance of teamwork, to build good self-esteem and to value friendships.

Mabel serves on the board of directors of C.A.R.E. Ministries, Inc. and teaches Sunday school. She and Bishop Charles V. Singletary have two children and reside in New Jersey.
