Melissa and her daughter, Lexy live in a small south Texas town (home of the famous King Ranch). Melissa is a bookkeeper at a Wildlife Game Preserve. She has had a poem published, and has contributed to an article in the Texas Monthly magazine. She is currently working on a book about being a single mom. Lexy attends school as an all "A" honor student. She hopes to one day become a Veterinarian. Melissa & Lexy have come to realize that they may soon have to become Zoo Keepers if they do not stop adopting animals!
