The Owl of Willow Woods

by Don Tripp

The Owl of Willow Woods is a book of life and love, channeled from God and spirits of the Godhead over a period of many years. Set in story form, it depicts a young wind chime maker who comes upon an owl in a willow forest. The Owl, it turns out, is God. During their two weeks together, the boy poses hundreds of some of the most common yet difficult questions people today are likely to ask. With the answers It gives, The Owl or God offers us insight into Its own mind and logic, providing a sense of who It really is and how It feels about a variety of widely-ranging subjects and concerns, while leaving us with such an impression of "Itself"--warm and personable--as never before. It unveils mankind's oldest mysteries, the true nature of our souls, the life that awaits us beyond this earth and the miraculous powers everyone has through the proper exercise of their prayers and beliefs. It divulges why we are here and what we, as individuals, can be doing to improve every aspect of our lives to make for a more contented, responsible, healthy, fulfilled and compassionate life.

The Owl or God reveals that each of us is a creator of our own reality with our every word, action, thought, emotion and belief. Because God is a Mind or a Force that created everything and being that It is our loving parent who made us in Its image, we too possess those same characteristics. In addition, It explains the universal law of love, karma or cause and effect, which is, putting it simply, "What we sow, is what we reap." This law sees to it that we are rewarded or reprimanded for the things we believe, do, say, think and feel. So much of what happens to us is prearranged or attracted as consequences of our own energy sent out--good, bad or indifferent. So, we are encouraged to be mindful of what we think and feel and how we behave...To be kind, righteous, charitable, confident, loving persons as we go through life, because whatever we do, day in and day out, we do to ourselves in the end.

Lastly, the book is both a plea and a warning to everyone here that Earth is about to undergo a spiritual cleansing. Despite the modern conveniences and improvements science and technology have afforded us and the advances we think we are making...and despite all the goodness there is across the world in countless fine individuals, families and communities...Due to a massive harmful energy being created, our planet may well be on the verge of destruction. It's karma on a worldwide scale. Any vibration or energy of this nature and magnitude is manifested physically, over time, by such godlessness as war, hostility, crime, greed, corruption, deceit, prejudice, mistrust, inconsideration, selfishness and conceit. Many a civilization, having run its course, has met its demise because it failed to acquire that state or quality of being "humane" and exhibiting wholesome caring ideals. As The Owl or God makes clear, any group or gathering of people, large or small, whatever is their purpose--be it an organization, business, government, family, community, nation or an entire world--can only flourish and survive long-term through the acceptance and practice of decent values...kindness, tolerance, equality, honesty, respect, giving, sharing...and simple love.
