Celebrated 32 years as Executive Producer and Host of "AL ALBERTS SHOWCASE" on WPVI-TV6 (ABC) in Philadelphia - one of the longest running television program in the country! Produced by his wife, Stella, the television show gave an opportunity to young talent to perform. The program created many major stars including Broadway star Andrea McCardle, Sister Sledge, The Kinley Twins, and dozens more!

Celebrating 14 years as Executive Producer and host of "HARMONY," a one hour syndicated radio program of family chatter, music trivia and only recordings of the world's greatest singing groups singing their classic adult standard hit recordings! Produced and co-hosted by his wife, Stella. Engineered by his son, Chris and introduced by his 6 year old grandson, Jeffrey. The program has two special features, "A MEMORY SONG" and "GOING FOR THE GOLD," the stories behind the making of that elusive gold record!!

He retired from television and moved to Port Charlotte, Florida with his wife in December, 2000.

Al has performed in every state in the United States including HAWAII & PUERTO RICO. . . and in 24 countries around the world including JAPAN, KOREA, OKINAWA, TAIWAN, THE PHILIPPINES, SINGAPORE, THAILAND, JAKARTA, HONG KONG, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, CANADA, BERMUDA, MEXICO, CHILE, ENGLAND, SCOTLAND, PORTUGAL, SPAIN, FRANCE, GERMANY, ITALY, NORTH AFRICA and SAUDI ARABIA.

He has two sons; Al Jr. who with his wife, Andrea, have created HORIZON CARE SERVICES INC. and provide RN home visitations to seniors who cannot leave their homes in NORTH PALM BEACH, DEERFIELD and FORT MYERS, FLORIDA. And Chris, who with his wife Cindy have been lighting, directing and choreographing Broadway shows for dinner theaters in Delaware & Pennsylvania.
