The books are a series beginning with Tyler Trio Adventure It's a Pirate's Life for Me.

This series is about three brothers who travel back in time to various historical sites. They learn valuable lessons in the importance of family while getting a first hand look at history in the making. In this first series, the youngest brothers wants to be a real pirate after being on a moc pirate ship. They discover a time traveling pocket watch that can take them places in the past.

Much research was done to insure the accuracy of events, styles and mannerisms during the time period along with sources that were available then.
