Douglas W. Jacobson is an engineer, business owner and World War Two history enthusiast. Doug has traveled extensively in Europe and has family in Antwerp, Belgium. Inspired by the war-time experiences of his Belgian relatives and his own Polish ancestry, Doug began a five-year research effort that resulted in his debut novel, Night of Flames. Doug and his wife Janie have two grown children, seven grandchildren and reside in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. Doug is currently working on a sequel.
