CLASS: thoughts of an Ordinary Man

by Howard V. Blair

A man who possessed all of the qualities of Class insulted Blair while he was on a business trip. It began his search to determine the meaning of the word that best describes the moral fiber of men and women.

'Class'? What is it? Where do we get it? How do we achieve it? Who has it? Who cares? And… Does he or she have it? His search determined that Class could be found in the measurement of nine human qualities… "Character", "The Ego", "Personality", "Surface Adornment", "Energy", "Knowledge and Intelligence", "Security Attainment", "Power", and "Courage". Character was the dominant quality.

He used the word 'Class' in defining and writing the personnel performance analysis for his company. He named it, 'JJI Classification'. It extended his ability to more quickly identify and measure the character and quality of men and women the company would employ.

Stories relating to many men he has known, tell of the courageous, the energetic, the insightful, the wise, the effective, and the ineffective. They provide illustration to the different points of character that made them Class individuals. There are a few who attained only a few of its qualities. They all march past as the pages turn.

This is a personal journey of a man who has lived life to his satisfaction and encourages you, as readers, to understand other people and yourself better.

Class? Who Cares? Blair shows you in amusing and powerful tales that you should have it…or at least a particle thereof.

Do you have 'Class'? Read and Find out!
