Janet Henderson has an M.A. in
English Composition/Writing from
Northeastern Illinois University and
an M.A. in Education from Concordia
University. She teaches English
Composition and writing in the City
Colleges of Chicago. She has also
taught at East-West University and
Chicago State University. For
several years, she worked for the
Chicago Board of Education and
served in the U.S. Army in the
communications field. As the
daughter of a marine, she grew up in
Chicago, Virginia, North Carolina,
California and Hawaii, and she often
travels to Europe, Asia, Central and
South America. Always a voracious
writer and reader, she has penned
numerous skits and poems since high

for the award-winning college news
editor/reporter, she is presently at
work on two others. She likes the
genre of romance but plans to write
mysteries and non-fiction as well.
In her leisure time she enjoys
novels by Dan Brown, Terri McMillan,
John Grisham, Sandra Brown and many
others. She lives in Chicago. |
