Muhamed Abdomerovic
Muhamed Abdomerovic, D.Eng., PMP,
Civil Engineer, project management
writer and practitioner with over
thirty years experience managing
projects in information technology,
construction, process industry and
energy sectors. He mastered project
management through numerous projects
with total budget of 12.5 billion
and has gained a broad insight into
the new project management theory
and practice. He has published three
books and more than thirty
professional journal studies on
project management. He has also
published articles in six
proceedings of Project Management
World Congresses.
His current research activities
cover several aspects of project
management including process
relationships and knowledge
integration of the PMBOK® Guide - an
American National Standard for
Project Management. Mr. Abdomerovic
is a leading authority in explaining
what the PMBOK® Guide says, what it
means and how you can use it to suit
your projects. He was a reviewer for
two last editions of the PMBOK®
Guide and has been recognized many
times for his work. Most recently,
The Center for Business Practices of
America has selected his study about
PMBOK® Guide as "Best Research"
paper.
Mr. Abdomerovic is currently Master
Scheduler in FKI Logistex. He was
previously a Program Manager with
Luckett & Farley. Prior to this, he
worked with Energoinvest in various
roles and he had various
responsibilities related to project
management. He has been responsible
for design and implementation of
systems for management of
large-scale development projects.
Mr. Abdomerovic joined The
International Project Management
Association in 1972. He is currently
a member of the Project Management
Institute and several of its
professional specific interest
groups. Mr. Abdomerovic graduated
from the University of Sarajevo with
the Diploma of Civil Engineer. He
also holds the title of Project
Management Professional (PMP) from
the Project Management Institute of
