Winsome Destiny
On a
storm-swept night in a waterfront
cafe as young Nicolas Megas waits
for the boat to take him to Piraeus
to join a freighter, he falls madly
in love for the first time with the
beautiful Eleni. On his further
journeys, his destiny speaks to him
of riches and glory through a
dolphin, and he battles a fierce
storm that angers Poseidon. In
Buenos Aires, he is given a golden
statuette of the Goddess Kali, who
defends him when he is in India. He
saves a tiger that threatens his
life, defeats a shark, and saves
from drowning the richest man in
India, who adopts him. He is seduced
by the rich man's wife, Lalita, and
marries her on her husband's death.
Years pass and Lalita dies in a
plane crash and Nicolas, through a
mishap, meets a young man who is his
son with Eleni. He re-meets Eleni,
and then during a brutal storm... |
