Roger Neetz

Roger Neetz ,a retired CIA officer and Agricultural Attache, is a late blooming author of two novels and several short stories. A graduate of Georgetown School of Foreign Service and acquired language skills led to a foreign service career with postings in Germany and the Soviet Union. The written word became an important instrument in communicating objectives and policy decisions. and during his public service he has authored numerous policy and trade articles that have been published in domestic and foreign journals.

After retirement he began a free lance career that allowed a new world to bloom. The genre of his writings could be best described as historical fiction with a bit of truth. This approach to writing opened the door of opportunity to call upon his memory of experiences for background material. The two novels already in print, The Search for Nual and Another Time follow this format . By reliving a time and place the stories allow fiction characters to speak words not recorded and opens the minds of the reader to a different world. There is more to be told. His third novel, Embassy Intrigue, now in the final editing stage fully engages a readeers interest to examine truth.
